DeepOutdoors 6-Gill Fin

The Six Gill fin is the newest evolution of the dive fin. It's patented design features and Ultimate performance make the SIX GILL the ideal fin for all levels of divers.

It has four main design details that seperate it from all other fins. The shorter blade design is reef-friendly and travels easy. It also improves agility and mobility in tight areas.

The wings of the SIX GILL are designed to add blade surface on the downstroke and reduce resistance on the upstroke. They also improve blade stabilization. This patented design provides increased efficiency for varying styles of kicks.

The gills work together with the scoop on the front of the fin to form our patented dual water channeling. This system delivers more thrust with less resistance. the gills expand during kicks to create a pump action. On the down stroke it creates a spiral vortex that channels water off the blade. The scoop expands during the upstroke and contracts during downstroke reducing resistance and also directing water flow off of the blade.

This improved system saves energy and ultimately air, which helps to extend your down time. The SIX GILL fin also comes with our universal fin strap which makes it even easier to put on, adjust and take off.
